GuardAssist
Professional Operational Guidance for the UK Security Industry.
GuardAssist has been designed to support security professionals working throughout the United Kingdom — door supervisors, security officers, CCTV operators, event security, close protection operatives and security managers.
Operational content is developed under the operational direction of Roy Longley, Group Head of Risk & Compliance, Fullerton Group, drawing upon more than 30 years of experience within the UK private security industry, risk management, compliance, health & safety and emergency response.
GuardAssist is designed as an operational support tool only. It does not replace professional training, organisational assignment instructions or the emergency services.
Editorial approach
The application draws upon relevant UK legislation, recognised national guidance, SIA training principles and selected British Standards where applicable. Content is provided as practical operational support and does not represent certification, formal legal advice or a replacement for organisational procedures. GuardAssist is not formally approved, endorsed or certified by the SIA, NHS, HSE, NPSA, ProtectUK, Resuscitation Council UK or any British Standards organisation.
