Heat exhaustion

  • Headache, dizzy, sweating heavily
  • Cramps
  • Fast pulse
  • Nausea
  • Move to cool area, sip water, cool skin, rest 30 min

Heatstroke — 999

  • Body temp > 40°C, hot dry skin (not sweating)
  • Confusion, seizures, unresponsive
  • Move to cool area, remove outer clothing
  • Cold water on skin, fan aggressively, ice packs to neck/armpits/groin
  • If unresponsive but breathing: recovery position
